Several sectors of the economy are working hard to integrate the crypto payment system. Fortunately, two payment companies have come together to allow restaurants to receive crypto as payment.
Lavu and Verifone will work together to achieve this goal in various restaurants located in 65 countries. Presently, both companies have not mentioned the countries that will be part of it.
Shiba Inu, Dogecoin And Other Digital Currencies Will Be Added
The digital currencies that will be used for payment include Dogecoin and Shiba Inu. These are two famous meme coins that have gained massive usage recently. Apart from the meme coins, a number of stablecoins will be added to the list. Also, the two famous crypto assets, Bitcoin and Ethereum, will be part of the list.
As per the statement made by both companies, the cross-distribution agreement between both companies would allow for seamless integration of their software. This is to ensure that several restaurants can accept the upgraded payment methods.
Furthermore, the payment alternatives will be made accessible at one centralized point of sale. This will improve the overall payment experience for customers.
Digital currencies are not the only additions to the payment system. Other payment channels that will be added include Venmo, Alipay, Affirm, WeChat Pay, and PayPal.
Globally, users are beginning to embrace digital payment. The new additions will enable restaurants to meet up with the digital age.
Users Burn More Shiba Inu To Get RYOSHI Rewards
In a single day, the Shiiba community has burned more than 12.8 billion SHIB. This occurred after the cryptocurrency’s burn portal started distributing rewards. The portal gave users who burned their tokens $RYOSHI rewards.
At the moment, a total of 410.35 trillion SHIB have been destroyed since Shiba Inu emerged. From the beginning, more than one quadrillion tokens were available.
The developers gave half of the tokens to Vitalik, co-founder of ETH. The other half were locked up in a smart contract to offer liquidity. The founders locked them on Uniswap, a decentralized exchange.
The co-founder of ETH took around 90% of the meme tokens and burned them. This move caused over 410 trillion SHIB to go out of circulation. However, the firm will add a payment gateway to the burn portal. The Shiba community has been pushing for the payment gateway. The gateway will allow for the expansion of the coin for charity donations.
